Writing a Good Resume:

General Tips:

  • The objective of the Resume is to make the Employer to call the candidate for interview.
  • The content should be genuine, clear & concise
  • The presentation should be neat & attractive.
  • Convey only the relevant information.
  • Try to have the content with in two pages, the employers rarely takes time to read further.
  • If you print a resume copy, use good quality A4 size paper.
  • Use same font type throughout the resume and covering letter.
  • Before printing or e-mailing, check your CV and covering letter for any spelling or grammar or content mistakes.

Writing A Covering letter:

In the A covering letter or a email letter introduce you by stating your current status (If employed state job title,employers name or state fresh graduate.) and most importantly state which position you are applying for, quoting a reference number or advertisement if any . If you are currently employed, include current CTC details and notice period required to join if you have been selected. Your covering letter needs to be brief. Including your contact details on the covering letter is always good.
